Each Unit has its own course covering multiple weeks and consisting of modules covering different wine related concepts and regions. The duration of each course changes according to the Unit, with D3 being the longest.
Each week has different activities that you are supposed to complete:-
Reading: the portions of the manuals that you have to read for that week
-
Quizzes: automatically marked by the system.
-
Interactive activities for explanation of exam techniques, concept review etc
-
Recorded Videos
-
Audios (links to podcasts that help you prepare for the exam)
-
Open answer questions
-
Tasting activities (you will need to fetch wine on your own)
-
Discussions (like open answer questions, but a bit more complex and long). Commented by the tutor.
-
Group assignments (activities where you are put in a group with other students and you work with them to answer a question or a number of questions). Commented by the tutor.
-
Feedback tests, marked by the tutor.
You will not have all of the activities every week, but this is a list of what they could be.
Occasionally you may have live chats with your tutor, but please notice that the courses do NOT involve regular online lectures. This is mostly a self-study course and being proactive in your learning is very important. -
