The Italian Wine Scholar explores, across two Units, the wines and wine regions of Northern, Central and Southern Italy, with a focus on the history, geography, and viticulture. You will learn about the grape varieties and winemaking techniques that define Italy's complex and fascinating wine industry.

The program was created by the Wine Scholar Guild with the support of the Italian wine DOC/G consortia and the Italian Trade Commission (ITA) endorsed it in recognition of its exceptional level of depth, accuracy, detail, and academic rigor.

The Spanish Wine Scholar course explores the wines and wine regions of Spain, and it focuses likewise on the history, geography, and viticulture of this Country. You will learn about the grape varieties and winemaking techniques that define Spain's diverse and dynamic wine industry.
