Barossa Enthusiast <beginner Course>

Barossa has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the 1840s. Today it is considered one of the top wine regions of Australia and the World, famous especially for well structured Shiraz wines.
However Barossa makes also premium wines from Riesling, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Grenache and other varieties and while it is considered a warm climate region, it can make wines of very different styles according to the area.

In this course you are going to explore this diversity and deepen your knowledge of the wines from this region.

Successful completion of Barossa Wine School Level 1, the two-hour introductory course, awards students the title of Barossa Enthusiast and entitles them to continue to further levels of the program. Students are introduced to Barossa and what makes it different to other wine regions around the world, plus taste 6 wines with an optional examination (25 multiple choice questions; pass mark is 70%) and receive a certificate.
