WSET Level 2 Award in Sake

『座学はオンライン』7回、『テイスティングは教室にて対面』1回に分けて実施する、オンラインとリアルを融合したハイブリッド型講座です。講座内容は通学コースと同様ですので、認定試験もご受験いただけます。
The Level 2 Hybrid course is composed by 7 theory sessions held online + 1 tasting sessions in the classrooms. The content is exactly the same as the classroom course, but it offers the comfort of following most of the lessons online.The exam will be in the classroom at the end of the course.

WSET日本酒レベル2では、醸造家が使用する原料がどのように加工され、どのように組み合わされて、さまざまなスタイルの日本酒が造られるかに焦点を当てます。また、試飲した日本酒の品質を説明し、評価する方法も学びます。

If you're keen to explore the world of sake, then WSET's new Level 2 Award in Sake could be the right course for you.
It is intended for anyone wishing to learn about the different styles of sake and how they are made, as well as those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Sake.

The WSET Level 2 Award in Sake focuses on how the ingredients used by brewers are processed and combined to create the many different styles of sake. It will also teach you how to describe and assess the quality of the sakes you taste.

日本酒や接客のプロであれば、友人やお客様に日本酒の選び方やサービスに関する貴重なガイダンスを提供することができます。日本酒愛好家であれば、どのような機会に日本酒を選ぶべきか、何を基準に選べばよいかを正確に知ることができます。

認定試験に合格すると、WSET 認定証とバッジが授与されます。試験は 50 問の選択問題(各 4 択)で構成されます。テイスティングはありません。

If you are a sake or hospitality professional, you’ll be able to offer valuable guidance on selection and service to your colleagues and customers. If you are a sake enthusiast, you’ll know exactly what to look for when choosing sakes for any occasion.

Upon passing the certification exam, you will receive WSET certification and badge. The exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions (four options each). There is no tasting.

※ Textbooks will be sent in advance when the course starts.

※The exam will be held on January 15

This will be conducted via Zoom meeting. Questions and answers will be provided via voice communication during the class.
If you are unable to attend the class in real time, you can view the recording at a later date.
(A limited viewing period will be set.)

The certification exam will be administered in person, not online.

▼How to Attend Online Sessions

The online seminar will be delivered via Zoom, a service provided by Zoom Video Communications. You will receive an invitation to attend the seminar from Zoom in advance, so please click/tap “Click here to join” when the time comes.

You can take the seminar from any computer, smartphone, or tablet device with an Internet connection. You can take the class from a browser on your computer, but the Zoom app is more stable. For smartphones and tablets, you will need to install the app, so please allow plenty of time for your participation. You can install the apps from the links provided in the course information email.

We recommend the use of a flat-rate Internet connection service, as communication fees are the responsibility of the customer.
